The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, and the regional presidents of Valencia and the Balearic Islands, Ximo Puig and Francina Armengol, will accompany the president of Baleària, Adolfo Utor, in the presentation of its strategic commitment to the use of liquefied natural gas as fuel in its fleet.
It will be in Fitur, the International Tourism Fair that is celebrated in Madrid from the 23 to the 27 in January. There Baleària will present its new milestone in this field in which it is a pioneer: the construction of the first fast ferry in the world that will be powered by gas engines, and that integrates the most innovative international technologies.
Fitur will also serve the shipping company to present actions linked to its commitment to the territories where it operates. Thus, in the social field, the signing of a collaboration protocol with the autonomous city of Melilla and the campaign stands out SolidarityArt of the Fundació Baleària, whose benefits will be for the NGO Save the Children; while the cultural area, there will be a shoowcooking on Balearic gastronomy, in collaboration with Chefsin.
In the sports side, the sponsorship of the Marathon of Formentera stands out. Baleària will also present the new specific web portal for travel agencies that will allow them to be more agile in reservations, and has scheduled numerous meetings and business meetings with the main tour operators.
