Increase attendance at the School of Parents with more than 60 participants

The 20th edition of the School for mothers and fathers "Educant per a previndre" organized by the Department of Social Welfare concluded the February 13, with the delivery of certificates of assistance to participants.

In the overall computation of the five sessions of the school, given during January and February, a total of 60 mothers and fathers participated, with an average of 30 to 40 per session. There is an increase in attendance compared to previous years, as a result, among other causes, of a greater awareness on the part of families in reference to the important role they play in the socialization of the youngest.

In response to the answers of the evaluation questionnaire that is given to the participants, the overall assessment of the course is very positive, of a 9'47 out of 10. The participating fathers and mothers have assessed with a high score the professionalism of the speakers, the interest and usefulness of the contents worked. He has also highly valued the organization and the fact that the exhibits have been clear and easily understood.

During the sessions the information on drugs and how to act before the detection of consumption was worked on; norms and limits from family education with the adolescent; adolescence as a stage of risks and learning; how to improve communication with children or children and the enhancement of their social skills for life and guidelines for the proper use of new technologies and associated legal aspects.
