Last weekend, the last test of the Spanish Supermotard Championship in the circuit of the Ribera (Guadassuar) in which the Dianense pilot, Álex Sirerol took part for the first time in the modality of Supermotard.
On Saturday and with hardly any training, Álex was classified in fifth position, surprising even riders who have been in this category for years, all and that the Kawasaki kxf450 with which he competed is not anywhere near the Husqvarna that have the most Grill.
The same day the first race was played, in which he finished in fifth position after battling the fourth position that finally could not get due to the inferiority of his mount.
On Sunday, the second race of the weekend was finally played in which Álex returned to perform an excellent performance and returned to finish in fifth place demonstrating his great driving counteracting the lack of power on his bike.
With the two fifth places achieved in the two races, the Dianense driver finished in fifth place his first participation in the Spanish Supermoto Championship.
The driver is very satisfied and after the race he commented that, "I want to thank all the support received by family and friends and to thank my sponsors Hotel Nou Romà, and the City of Denia. Next year we will compete to win the Interautonomic Speed Championship in the category of Superstock600".
