The State Meteorological Agency has decreed a yellow alert for rain and storms from midnight on Friday, April 19, until 00:00 on Saturday. According to the AEMET notice, up to 80 liters per square meter could be collected in 12 hours in the region of La Marina Alta.
From the 15 hours on this Friday the alert will continue to be active since the intensity of the rain is expected to accumulate 20 liters per hour.
Looking ahead to the weekend, at the moment a strong north-east wind force 7 and waves of up to three meters are expected for the day on Sunday, so to continue with this forecast the yellow alert would be activated by winds and coastal phenomena .
The temperatures for Friday and the weekend will oscillate between the 16 degrees of maximum and 12 of minimum.
