After several months of cordial negotiation, the partners of Baleària, Adolfo Utor with 57,5% of the shares and the Matutes group of companies (42,5%), have agreed to end their relationship of more than 17 years as partners in Baleària. After the agreement reached, Adolfo Utor takes control of 100% of the shares of the shipping company of which he was founder.
The so far partners of Baleària want to highlight their fluid, enriching and fruitful relationship, based on mutual trust, and with results of which they feel proud and satisfied, by contributing with their participation to the consolidation of a leading shipping company in Spain and an international benchmark in sustainability and digitization . The Matutes group will allocate this divestment to its hotel core business, and Adolfo Utor with the acquisition proves a renewed and full confidence in the project he leads.
