The different children's category teams of the Dénia Básquet they had a totally unfortunate day since they were defeated in their league games.
The child of 2ª Zonal suffered two defeats, one against UPB Gandía by 49 to 51 and another against CB Pedreguer by 73 to 42.
Before the Gandiense set played at a good level. They are two very equal teams that raised a clearly offensive game. Good details were seen of some players who have a great talent that they still have to channel. In the key moments of the match the concentration in the Dianense team failed, and this prevented them from adding a new victory.
Against the team of Pedreguer, the dianenses began the clash very asleep, with fear of the rival. This caused too many unforced turnovers and poor choice at the time of the attack.
The team, despite its improvement in the second part, could not reduce the differences although it came with a better taste in the mouth. The collective game improved a lot and this was the most valued by the coach.
Meanwhile, the 1ª Zonal Infant team lost to CB Ondara by 48 to 32. The dianenses jumped to the track very concentrated, which led them to win the first set. But an annotation jam allowed Ondara's team to make a partial 24 to 3, which caused a turnaround in the scoreboard.
In the second part a more dynamic game in attack allowed the dianenses to compete and score much better coming to win the last two periods but with no option to reach the locals who made a good game.
Neither did things better for the preferential female infant, who lost her visit to L'Alfás del Pi before CB Terralfás for 66 to 45. The dianenses players yielded to a good level, although this is not reflected in the score.
In the two previous games against this same opponent they closed the scoreboard easily while on this occasion they got a worthy result at the break that we arrived with only six points of disadvantage.
Without a doubt a great party that has to fill with confidence to this group of girls to face the last day and the next Federation Trophy with which we will close the season.
The only joy of this category came with the victory of the children of 2 Z Zonal who beat with force CB Genovés by 57 to 16. The locals got a new victory by knowing how to impose their rhythm from the beginning, which allowed them to distance themselves on the scoreboard. Good game with a remarkable collective game and a lot of fight on the track, something that allowed a dynamic game in the Dianense set.
