The financial aid that the City Council of Dénia grants this year, for the first time, to help defray the costs of schooling in the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (students from 0 to 3 years old) can be requested from November 9 to 20, according to It indicates in the extract of the bases of the call that is published today in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante. The application form can be downloaded through the electronic headquarters of the City Council (https://oac.denia.es/va/index.aspxy https://oac.denia.es/es/index.aspx) or collected in person at the OAC Citizenship Service Office (Plaza de la Constitución, 1) and at the premises of the Department of Social Welfare (Plaza del Archduque Carlos, 3). This model will have to be accompanied by the documentation required in the bases.
The completed application must be submitted to the General Registry of the Dénia City Council (OAC), from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and from 9 a.m. to 18 p.m. (Tuesday and Thursday) or by telematic means through the electronic headquarters of the City Council.
The general objective of this line of aid, as explained by the Councilor for Social Welfare, Cristina Morera, is to contribute to meet the needs that originate from the schooling of children and promote the reconciliation of work and family life. “And more taking into account that the demands of the current socio-labor situation entail greater organizational difficulties in coordinating work activity with family needs, which is why the schooling of boys and girls of these ages is an important support for families and it is important that the City Council help them ", adds Morera.
The aid will consist of a single payment of 160 euros. To cope, the City Council has enabled a 50.000 euro item in the 2020 budget.
Only applicants who prove that the boy or girl for whom the aid is requested has been enrolled in a nursery school in Dénia, la Xara and Jesús Pobre authorized by the Ministry of Education during the past year, 2019 / 2020, and has attended the center regularly for a minimum of 5 months of that course.
It is also a requirement that financial aid for schooling has been requested and obtained in authorized Early Childhood Education centers and first-cycle municipal schools for the 2019/2020 academic year granted by the Department of Education and that the child for whom Help is requested if you are enrolled in an authorized Early Childhood Education center or in a Primary center in the 2020/2021 academic year.
