On June 16, World Tapas Day is celebrated and 36 bars and restaurants in Dénia will also do so with a special route. The Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina has wanted to join the Saborea España initiative to promote this activity in various tourist destinations in the country.
The route will take place between Monday 13 and Friday 17 June when Dianense establishments will offer their small specialties along with a drink at a price of 4 euros. Through the Rutappa application you can find all the tapas that locals will offer these days.
On the occasion of this celebration, the restaurant that won the best tapa in the Valencian Community, la Xerna del mar, will represent the Valencian territory in the international event that will take place in Zurich.

The Saborea España Association is made up of five national entities: Hospitality of Spain, to which AEHTMA belongs, the Spanish Association of Destinations for the Promotion of Gastronomic Tourism, of which the city of Dénia is a member, Eurotoques, (European organization of cooks made up of highly prestigious chefs), Facyre (Federation of Cooks and Pastry Chefs of Spain) and Paradores de Turismo.
For this reason, AEHTMA together with the Dénia City Council, Guíame and the sponsorship of the Costa Blanca Board of Trustees have joined the initiative that allows them to show off and show off the best regional products before residents and visitors of Dénia.
